Olive Donegan is a native of Co. Kerry. She began singing traditional Irish ballads in cabaret shows around Kerry and then went on to perform in musicals. The Association of Irish Musicals rewarded Olive's acting & singing, when she was nominated as Best Comedienne & Best Female Singer for her role as Katashia in the Hot Mikado. She studied performing arts with the Institute of Technology, Tralee in conjunction with Siamsa Tire, The National Folk Theatre of Ireland. She spent 2 years in London studying singing and drama and performed at the London Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall. After returning to Dublin, she studied film acting at the Irish Film Centre and the Courtyard Studios in Ringsend.
