Weather
David Lean was drawn to Kerry as a location for his film “Ryan’s
Daughter” when he watched the ever changing lines of light as the sun set
over the Blasket Islands. This light at “magic hour”, be it dawn or dusk is
one of the unique features of Kerry. From powerful storms, to sun baked
beaches, the weather in the South West of Ireland is both unpredictable and
always changing, which brings a clarity of air and light that is hard to
match.
